SPROUT FOR HP

From August through October 2014, I was a Visual Designer intern for Hewlett Packard in Palo-Alto, California. During this internship I was assigned to a new product project. The product was eventually called Sprout. Sprout is a new immersive home computing device.  During this internship, I was able to work on several aspects of designing and testing the user experience for Sprout.

One of the things I was tasked with was in depth user-flow interactions with the product. These user-flows were an investigative process, as I designed these user-flows while using the product for the first time.

I also was tasked with creating product mock-ups to better show the product.

By far the most interesting part of the process was being able to attend usability testing in both Sunnyvale, CA and Portland, OR.  Attending these testing sessions opened my eyes on how the UX industry really makes an impact, and cemented my interest in pursuing User Experience design as a career.
